The JSS STU organized an event pertaining to motivate Students in civil service arena. The event was the inaugural function of JSS STU BUREAU CLUB which promotes the students for such activities. The chief guest of the event, Dr.C.G.Betsurmath Rtd KAS, Executive secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeeta along with other dignitaries including the principal of the institution
Dr TN Nagabhushan , Registrar of JSS STU Dr. K.S.Lokesh and the club Co-ordinator Dr. MH Sidram were also present on the dias. The chief guest following the inauguration briefed about the civil services and his journey in his administration field. He encouraged the students to take up civil service examinations by briefing them about the help that can be done to change the society to make it a better place to live in

Seminar on Civil Services Examination:
The first event of Bureau Club, seminar on Civil Services Examination was held on 19th of September in IS/CS seminar hall. Our honorable chief guest K.M.Prasanna Kumar was the guest speaker of the event. This seminar’s main motive was to give enough information for the aspirants about Civil Services examination, civil services cadres, exam pattern, time duration and strategies to plan for succeeding in it.
K.M.Prasanna Kumar defined what is SUCCESS. The first step towards success is to dream following to this is action of plan, implementation and finally comes success. The true success is a mirror of satisfaction, and it is never quantitative. To succeed one must have positive thinking and optimism in his work. He guided briefly about the present competitive world and how and when to prepare for the Civil Service examination.

ABOUT US
BUREAU CLUB
Bureau Club is a official Civil Services aspirants club of our SJCE. This is the first official Civil Services aspirants club in the technical institute in Karnataka. The main objective of this club is to create common platform for preparing for Civil Services exam and aiming for their future goals and facilitate the development of competitiveness among the aspirants by motivating and assisting them to exceed their potential.
The Civil Services examination is one of the most competitive and toughest exams in India. There are many students who are interested in Indian Civil Service but they don’t know how to take their next step. Therefore these students need to be honed by broadening their perspective and motivating them to go ahead and achieve their goals. The Bureau Club is also a platform for aspirants to develop their personality, communication skill and gain confidence. So that they become better fit in the nation building and administrative mechanism.
FACULTY COORDINATOR
Dr. M. H. Sidram is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree of B.E in Electrical Engineering and secured 3rd Rank from Gulbarga University. He obtained his M.Tech. degree from CEDT, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and Ph.D. degree in Electronics from University of Mysore. His area of research is Renewable Energy Sources, Soft Computing and Digital Image Processing
